White Variant – baby Octopus Ampersand is a sculpted white edition of the Baby Octopus Ampersand is presented on a 25 × 25 cm white Dibond composite aluminium panel, bonded to a black MDF backing, allowing the form and its shadows to take centre stage. With a total depth of 5.5 cm, including the backing, it arrives ready to hang.
Digitally sculpted and realised through 3D printing, each piece is carefully hand-finished and hand-painted. The crisp white surface emphasises the sculptural detail, creating a refined, high-quality finish that responds subtly to changes in light and viewpoint. Evolving from its original 2D print, the work gains depth and presence as a striking 3D relief.
